Teachers Course

This is a fully comprehensive course which also boasts a very high success rate. Not only does it offer young teachers all the subjects listed on the curriculum, but it also offers FDI and CDE training in I.S.T.D. Cecchetti ballet, Modern, Tap, and the Spanish Dance Society IDB.

The students have lectures in basic anatomy, health and safety, and lifespan development as well as tutorage in presentation skills and psychology, and History of Dance. Music plays a great part in the teachers course and these lectures are interspersed with the FDI and CDE classes to help young teachers with their musical knowledge and choreography.

Many young graduates of this course have found teaching positions nationally and in Europe - so much so that a lot of schools actually telephone requesting third year graduates for posts before the end of their final year.
